Explaining “24 Hour Hospice Care”

Simply put, hospice care is available 24 hours a day but that does not mean hospice nurses are at patient’s bedside 24 hours a day. What is does mean is Silverado Hospice has established on call service when patients or families contact them. Our customer care team of on-call nurses answer phone calls, makes patient visits, or sends out one of our after-hours team members between scheduled visits.
